IELTS Writing Task 1: Maps of conference center

Task 1: The picture below shows the difference in the layout of the conference centre in 2010 and 2025.

The infographic depicts the infrastructure of a conference centre in 2010 and a concept for a fifteen-year renovation.

In general, substantial changes to the centre would be done in the year 2025. A variety of rooms with various functions, as well as the relocation of certain original amenities, would then be erected.

In 2010, the centre in the Northwestern area was provided with two rooms, a reception, and a hall, all of which are projected to stay intact in the next 15 years. A garden was located beneath the reception, and a car park was located on the right side. The second garden was located further to the east of the centre.

When it comes to the venue’s projected layout in 2025, one of the most noticeable alterations would be the loss of the East’s garden, which would be replaced by a parking park and an additional residence hall. Finally, numerous structures are planned for the building’s south side, including two conference rooms, an IT centre, a café and kitchen, a game area, and a music room.

Phân tích

Nhìn chung sự thay đổi lớn nhất giữa 2 bản đồ là sự xây thêm của các phòng với nhiều chức năng hơn, bên cạnh đó hầu hết chúng cũng sẽ được di dời vị trí. 

Mỗi đoạn body tương ứng với hình ảnh của từng năm. Năm 2010 mô tả vị trí của các cơ sở vật chất của trung tâm (hành lang, lễ tân, bãi đỗ xe, vườn,…) và nhắc tới việc hành lang vẫn được giữ nguyên sau 15 năm để tạo sự kết nối giữa 2 hình. Năm 2025 sử dụng thì hiện tại/ tương lai để mô tả những sự thay đổi. Sử dụng thể bị động của các động từ replace, plan, errect, build, locate…để tránh bị lặp từ.

IELTS Writing Task 2: Encouraging healthy lifestyle

Task 2: More and more people decide to eat healthy food and exercise regularly. What are the reasons for this trend? What can be done to encourage more people to eat healthier and exercise?

In contemporary society, the number of people who consume nutritious foods and engage in physical activity has recently increased. In this essay, I would explain why they are motivated and offer suggestions on how to keep this trend going.

One of the likely causes of this trend is that access to reliable health information has never been straightforward. People may now receive a wealth of knowledge, such as the link between excellent health and a healthy lifestyle, thanks to technological advancements. People can read articles regarding obesity and sadness on the internet, for example, which are caused by an excessive intake of junk food and a lack of exercise. Furthermore, many articles include instructions on how to prepare nutritious meals. Individuals are reconsidering their eating and workout habits as a result of easy access to fitness and culinary information. As a result, more people are eating better and engaging in physical activity on a daily basis to avoid disease.

The number of individuals who follow this trend would grow as the option to learn about cooking and fitness is added, encouraging them to continue for a long time. Experts such as certified dietitians and sports instructors may offer innovative and efficient approaches that the majority of people are unaware of. For example, in most major cities, there are well-known fitness centres with a plethora of choices for any specific taste of any individual. Citizens may participate at any time and would never be bored because each class is different. As a result, creating an environment that contains helpful recommendations would inspire more individuals to eat healthy meals and exercise.

To conclude, a wealth of health information encourages individuals to consume nutritious meals and engage in daily physical activity. Offering individuals the chance to learn about food and exercise without fear will, in my opinion, motivate them even more.

Bài viết cần trả lời đầy đủ các câu hỏi của đề bài, tương ứng với mỗi đoạn body. Đoạn body thứ nhất giải thích lý do vì sao việc ăn huống healthy lại trở thành một xu hướng trong xã hội (thông tin trên Internet, báo chí,…giúp con người nắm được thông tin về việc bảo vệ sức khoẻ). Đoạn tiếp theo đưa ra những biện pháp giúp thúc đẩy xu hướng tích cực này: khuyến khích học nấu ăn từ các chuyên gia dinh dưỡng, tập luyện theo hướng dẫn huấn luyện viên, mở thêm các câu lạc bộ thể hình,…

Các ý tưởng được ngăn cách bằng các cụm từ chỉ dẫn, giúp người đọc phân biệt rõ các luận điểm, luận cứ và các ví dụ chứng minh.
